Hogue Class of 2000 Reunites in 2008
My 4th grade class from the year 2000 is graduating - this was a special class as they came to me as a "package" deal from Jane Hoeppner due to their supportiveness with Gabe and Tony. It was a very special group - in fact Justin Ordway and Savannah Morrow have been volunteers in my room all year. We finished that special year creating time capsules - an idea Sandy had shared with me from when she taught 4th grade- each student kept their personal time capsule with the agreement to meet under the watertower in 2008. Last night was our night - I had 10 of my kids show up - with their time capsules - it was an awesome experience - so fun to watch them reading their 4th grade writing - reminiscing about memorable moments - Sean Loy and I wore our Hawaiian shirts - 4th grade was the year for Hawaiian shirts - of course I am STILL wearing mine:) Just want you to know that I am proud to be a Talawanda teacher!!
