Hoskins
Nancy Hoskins Bailey was a 1969 graduate of Talawanda High School. She was a 4-sport varsity athlete playing field hockey, basketball, volleyball, and track and field. In 1966-67 Nancy set a shot put record of 30’8’’, which stood for some time.

Having married and moved to Kentucky, Nancy continued playing softball and was active with her children’s sports including soccer, baseball, and football.

Nancy has worked over 20 years at the MRISC (Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Spectroscopy Center) Research Center at the University of Kentucky working with researchers and managing a Research Center.

Nancy and her husband live in Nicholasville, KY. They have 2 sons and 2 granddaughters. Their daughter-in-law explains that Nancy and her husband “are just simple folks who enjoy life and take things in stride”- enjoying fishing and boating and spoiling their granddaughters.

Tonight we welcome Nancy into the 11th class of the Talawanda Athletic Hall of Fame.
