During the years of 1990, ‘91, and ‘92, Travis Myers was one of the best young divers in the nation. He was named to the high school all American diving team three years in a row.

His sophomore year at Talawanda, he was fourth in the state of Ohio high school diving championships. The next two years, he won the first place gold medal in the state meet. Quite an accomplishment!

Travis still holds the school and league record scores in diving, as well as records in Cincinnati. He was all Ohio in diving for three straight years. On the national end, Travis finished in the top twelve in the country in his age group diving five of the six years he competed.

Following graduation, Travis received a full athletic grant-in-aid to Ohio State University. He later transferred to Miami, where he helped the Miami team to the M.A.C. Championship.

Locally, Travis has coached the Oxford swim team divers to three consecutive championships. He has also served as assistant diving coach at Miami University.
