Dave’s accomplishments in football include school records in career and single season passing completions, as well as completion percentage. As a quarterback and team leader, He was victorious in 25 of his 30 total games. Dave continues to be in the top three quarterbacks in THS history for touchdown passes thrown, career passing yardage, total offense, and season interceptions.
In basketball, Dave was selected to the All-League Team, set records for a season free-throw percentage, and ranks in the top ten scorers in Talawanda basketball history.
Dave’s baseball accomplishments include records in career (24-8), and single season (10-1), pitching wins. His single season batting record, (.408), and his leadership helped Talawanda baseball to the District Championship in 1964.
