
After graduation from THS, Jeremiah went to Ashland University to play college football. After sitting out his freshman year under Proposition 48, Jeremiah played mostly on special teams during the 1993 season and finished the season with 53 tackles. During the 1994 and 1995 seasons, Jeremiah was first team All MIFC, and first team All American. He lead his team with 128 tackles and 4 interceptions in 1994, and 125 tackles and 6 interceptions in 1995. After taking 1996 away from school, Jeremiah returned to Ashland and once again was All MIFC first team, with 122 tackles and helped earn the school’s first MIFC championship in 17 years!
Jeremiah majored in Business Hotel Management at Ashland and has worked in a variety of businesses in the past 10 years. He currently resides in Oxford and is looking forward to starting his own business in the near future.
Tonight we recognize Jeremiah Kennedy for his athletic success in football and his commitment to excellence. We will always remember his performance vs. Priceton HS in 1991, and welcome him into the 8th class of the Talawanda Athletic Hall of Fame.
