No Child Left Behind ActTalawanda School District is actively addressing state and federal legislation, which the No Child Left Behind Act (NCLBA) has required. The NCLBA was created to ensure accountability and to increase student, staff success. Therefore, you will find district policies addressing the following areas: recruitment and retention of highly-qualified teachers and school leaders, parent notification, adequate yearly progress, supplemental services for Title I schools, public school choice, parent involvement, school safety, homeless education, and access to student information.
