Kramer Cultural PRIDE Day

Kramer students participated in the 3rd annual Cultural PRIDE Day Friday, June 1st , 2012. Students visited booths from Japan, China, India, Mexico, Canada, USA, Puerto Rico, Russia and the Cherokee Nation where they sampled foods, listed to music, learned how to write their names in different languages, learned interesting facts and much more. Several different cultural activities were also offered to students including African drumming, mancala, bocce ball, cultural crafts, salsa dancing and more. A performance from the Talawanda High School Steel Drum Band ended the day with everyone up dancing and celebrating the wonderful diversity we have at Kramer Elementary. We look forward to another amazing day in 2013!
