Happy Friday! I hope you have enjoyed the great weather this week.
As a part of being a positive peer influence we thought we could help others by participating in a canned food drive for the Oxford Community Choice Pantry. Kramer’s K kids will be collecting canned foods for the Pantry in the upcoming weeks. The Pantry has stated they are in great need of peanut butter specifically. We will begin our collection on Thursday, November 1st and continue until Friday, November 16th. Students can take canned foods to the art room where our K kids will organize our donations. Thank you for your help in continuing to develop these important assets in your child’s life.
The Kramer Staff would like to remind you of the following guidelines for our Halloween activities for Wednesday, October 31st:
ü Please have your child wear his/her costume to school. It must be comfortable enough for the entire school day, including the bus ride home.
ü No masks.
ü Face paint should be minimal.
ü Weapons are NOT permitted as any part of a costume.
ü Keep safety in mind, nothing hanging.
The THS Orchestra will visit Kramer on Wednesday October 31, 2012 to perform some fall favorites for students in grades 3-5. Ms. Lease has visited Kramer in the past, and they are showcasing the orchestra this year. The orchestra will perform at THS on Monday evening, October 29th.
As Election Day nears, please remember the following parking guidelines for dropping off and picking up:
On Tuesday, November 6, 2012 voting will take place at Kramer Elementary. We will have our regular school day. We are asking parents for the following on Election Day.
-Please park in the lower lot, or on the street. We need to leave the upper lot open for voters.
-If you are bringing your child to school, or picking them up, please pull onto the playground and pick them up at the door. You will see Kramer staff members in the parking lot, directing traffic.
- Please drive slowly through the parking lot; there will be a number of students and voters in the parking lot.
-Please do not enter through the gym, please come up to the main entrance, or enter through the back of the school.
